KMC X-ray
KMC X-ray is Kaung Mon Clinic's X-ray management system. Authorized clinic staff use it to manage patient registration, invoices, examination queues, X-ray images and report preparation.
This public page explains the application. Patient records and the staff application are not hosted on this website.
Image access through Google Drive
The optional Google Drive connection helps clinic staff prepare image access for patients and their referring doctors. A clinic administrator connects the clinic's Google account and chooses the image folder used by KMC.
- The clinic's configured Google Drive synchronization uploads the examination images.
- KMC checks that the corresponding online image files match the local examination images.
- When automatic sharing is enabled, KMC gives each matched image viewer access to anyone with its link and generates a QR code locally, with the clinic logo in its centre.
- Clinic staff can include the image QR codes in the patient's document. Each QR code opens its corresponding Google Drive image.
Keep image links and QR codes private. Anyone who receives or photographs one can open the linked image, including identifying information visible in it. A QR code is not a password or an access check.
What the Google connection permits
The current connection requests broad Google Drive permission, which can permit access to all files in the connected account. The automatic QR feature uses that permission to locate matching files under the configured clinic folder, check their metadata and update image-sharing permissions. The Google permission itself is not limited to that folder.
Only authorized clinic staff should connect a Google account. Patients do not need to connect their Google accounts to KMC. Read the Google Drive section of our privacy policy before enabling the connection or automatic sharing.
Reports and availability
KMC supports report preparation and delivery; it does not independently provide a radiologist's diagnosis. A document containing image QR codes alone is not a radiologist's opinion.
Image access depends on the file remaining available in Google Drive with the appropriate sharing permission. Internet access, synchronization and Google authorization are needed for new automatic image QR codes.
